We knew exactly what we wanted when we were looking to buy our very own holiday home.

We know our holiday home has these 5 things, and as such will give you the basis for a memorable happy holiday.

The property is in the tourist resort of Caleta de Fuste. This is centrally located on the coast making both the North of the island and South a comfortable day out. Only 10 – 15 minutes from the airport makes for an easy transfer once you land.

Split over 3 floors, this house ticks all the boxes when it comes to spacious and comfortable.

The top floor has a spacious twin bedroom and a double, each with its own balcony. Each room has fitted wardrobes and fans. These rooms share the main bathroom.

A marble staircase leads to a large spacious comfortable lounge, (no wooded arms here). Seating for 7 people. Off the lounge is a small toilet area and a good sized kitchen/breakfast room with a breakfast bar. This leads to the private patio and through a lockable gate into the communal gardens and pool area.

To me a separate kitchen to the lounge was uber important. If I didn’t feel like tidying up the evening meal, I could close the door on my guilt and not be reminded. A small thing, but when you're on holiday it feels good sometimes to say I’ll sort it out in the morning.

This is the house that keeps giving, so from the lounge, more marble stairs take you to the lower ground floor. A large second living area awaits, with more seating and more storage. A bonus space that ensures the living accommodation doesn’t get cluttered.

Also located on this level is a spacious twin bedroom with an ensuite shower room. For us this provided an ideal separation for Grandparents or older children OR even a second family if you wanted to share the accommodation.
